Dogs rule in the funny department

According to my sources, America’s Funniest Home Videos, now in its 20th season ⁽¹⁾, has shown 260 animal videos and won $2.2 million in prize money for these clips ⁽²⁾.   Of course, dogs were featured in more than half the videos – 136 in total – and captured over half the prize money ($1.4M) as a group.  The second largest pet group to capture prize money goes to our feline friends, with 36 videos and $210,000 in prize money.  Like I’ve always said – Dogs definitely rule.
